Navigate From Within: A Journey Toward Inner Awareness and Eco-Leadership

At Focus Foundation, we believe that leadership begins from within. As part of our ongoing Focus Nature-Friendly Leaders Program, we hosted the Navigate From Within education camp at our foundation headquarters in Istanbul. This two-day immersive module was designed to guide our participants through a transformative inner journey — one that fosters self-awareness, personal discovery, and a deeper understanding of leadership in harmony with nature.

The central theme of the weekend was “knowing oneself to lead others.” Participants explored their inner compass through reflective sessions and interactive exercises. A key highlight of the camp was a personality assessment activity, which offered each participant insights into their behavioral tendencies and communication preferences.

By understanding their own personality profiles and embracing individual differences within the group, participants practiced adapting their communication styles for more inclusive and effective collaboration. The camp emphasized that recognizing and valuing diversity in communication is essential to building trust and fostering team cohesion — both core elements of nature-aligned leadership.

On the second day, participants applied these insights within the broader context of leadership. Through experiential learning and dialogue, they explored what it means to lead with awareness, intention, and eco-conscious values.

The program’s facilitators — Zeynep Morelli, Burak Özberk, and Dilem Cinli — provided structured sessions that bridged self-knowledge with green leadership principles.
