As part of the Focus Foundation's Nature-Friendly Leaders Program, we paid a one-day visit to the Armaş Foundation in Kocaeli with our participants. On this meaningful day, we had the chance to hear about the establishment and mission of the Armaş Foundation from the valuable founders of the foundation, Sibel Asna and Uygar Özesmi. The foundation's director, Gonca Doğan, provided detailed information about the projects carried out by the Armaş Foundation.

Another important part of the program was the "prosumer economy" course we held with Uygar Özesmi. Our participants prepared for this special meeting by reading Özesmi's book "Çıkış Yolu Türetim Ekonomisi". The discussions held after the course allowed us to deeply consider the values that the product economy adds to society and nature, and its individual and collective effects.

Continuing the visit, we had a very informative and inspiring session on biodiversity with our graduate Yeliz Ergöl. Ergöl provided our participants with valuable information about the importance of biodiversity, aroused curiosity and shared surprising information about the rich diversity that nature offers.

We ended this meaningful day with a pleasant trekking activity in nature. This walk, intertwined with nature, provided an opportunity for our participants to internalize the information they learned and feel the rhythm of nature.

As the Focus Foundation, it is a great pleasure for us to provide our participants with the opportunity to improve themselves through such meaningful and educational experiences in line with our mission of raising leaders in harmony with nature.
