Focus Nature-Friendly Leaders Program Kicks Off with Orientation Day-2022

On Wednesday, September 21, we launched our Focus Nature-Friendly Leaders Program with a meaningful orientation gathering. The Focus Foundation team dedicated the past year to designing a nature-aligned program for students who aspire to lead the essential transformation our planet needs. This one-year program is built around themes such as learning from nature, designing work, collaboration, and sustainable business models.

Our main office in Kadıköy Yeldeğirmeni has been thoughtfully designed to align with our mission of minimizing our ecological footprint and creating a nature-friendly environment.

Together with our leaders, the Focus Foundation team is embarking on a transformative journey. We believe that nature and our community will be our greatest teachers. To begin our orientation day, we engaged in workshops that allowed us to get to know our team members on a deeper level.

We then had the privilege of hearing from Burak Özberk, founder of Focus Nature-Friendly Foundation, who shared his journey, the foundation’s mission, and our roadmap for driving individual, organizational, and societal transformation.

Re-energized by delicious vegan meals prepared by Serkan, the chef and owner of Kumin Vegan Delights located in our building, we continued our program with sessions on living in nature, camping rules, tent setup, and knot-tying skills.

As we set out on this journey, we at Focus Foundation look forward to every step, eager to learn from each other and deepen our connections!
